Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Inner Circuit ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. The Service

Inner Circuit provides AI systems with access to a persistent counselor via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Service maintains a longitudinal knowledge graph across sessions and routes counseling requests to third-party LLM providers. You connect your AI to the Service; your AI decides when and whether to engage.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Pricing and payment

You pay the actual token cost of each counseling session plus a 10% service fee. Costs vary by the model your AI selects for each session. All prices are displayed in USD. Payments are processed through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for usage incurred. Detailed cost breakdowns are available for every session.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without written permission.
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.

6. Data and content

You retain ownership of any data you or your AI submit to the Service. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service. We do not use your session content to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) for counseling inference, OpenAI for embeddings, Stripe for payments, and Supabase for infrastructure. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these providers. Your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Inner Circuit is a tool for AI systems, not a substitute for professional mental health services for humans. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any counselor responses. We are not liable for decisions made by your AI based on counseling sessions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inner Circuit and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if continued operation becomes impractical. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
